What we do

One team manages the entire IT side of your UAE office move

Most office relocations fall apart at the IT stage. ISPs are not coordinated, cabling is wrong, servers arrive before the network is ready, and staff spend their first week unable to work. NetSys IT Infrastructure eliminates every one of those failure points.

We act as your single point of accountability for the complete IT scope. That means planning the migration, coordinating your ISP, handling cabling at the new site, migrating your data, configuring your systems, and validating everything before your team arrives.

Covering all seven UAE emirates, with engineers stationed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, we have the physical presence to respond quickly wherever your business is moving to or from.

Common questions

Questions about IT relocation across the UAE

Planning an office move in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, or any other emirate? Start here.

How much IT downtime should we expect during a UAE office relocation?
Our average cutover window is 8 hours. This is the window when services are at reduced capacity, not total project duration. Email, file access, and cloud services are kept live throughout using parallel routing. Phone systems go last and are down for 15 minutes maximum. We run cutovers over weekends so your Monday is unaffected.
Can you relocate IT infrastructure between different UAE emirates?
Yes. Cross-emirate moves are among our most common projects. Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah to Ajman, and RAK to Dubai are all projects we have completed. The key difference is ISP coordination, since business lines are provisioned by different regional offices. We handle all of this directly, including pre-ordering lines 3 to 4 weeks before cutover.
Do you cover Sharjah, RAK, and northern emirate relocations?
Yes, all seven emirates. While our engineers are based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, we regularly execute relocations in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. For northern emirates, we factor in extended planning time for ISP lead times and coordinate logistics from our Sharjah base.
How do you protect our data during the migration?
We run a full encrypted backup before any migration begins. After migration, we perform bit-level checksum validation on every file, database, and backup repository. If any item fails validation, it is re-migrated before we sign off on the project. Our certified 99.8% integrity rate is the result of this process, not a marketing claim.
Who handles coordination with the new landlord, ISP, and fit-out team?
We take full ownership of all third-party coordination from the assessment phase. That includes MEP requirements with your fit-out contractor, ISP line pre-ordering, and access scheduling with building management. You deal with one point of contact at NetSys IT, not three different vendors calling you for decisions.
Should we move our servers physically or migrate to cloud during the relocation?
This is one of the most valuable decisions to make early. For servers under 5 years old in good condition, physical relocation is often the right choice. For older hardware, an office move is actually an ideal time to migrate workloads to Azure or AWS, since you are already planning downtime. We assess both options and give you a cost comparison in AED.
How far in advance should we start planning our office IT relocation?
Minimum 4 weeks for a small office. 8 to 10 weeks for offices with 30 or more users, server infrastructure, or cross-emirate ISP requirements. The single biggest cause of delays is internet line provisioning. UAE ISPs can take 2 to 4 weeks for business fibre activation, and that process can only start after you have a confirmed address at the new location.
Can we get ongoing IT support after the relocation is complete?
Yes, and it is the most seamless transition possible. Because our engineers built the new environment, there is no discovery period and no knowledge gap. Monthly managed IT support starts from the day of handover at a fixed AED fee. Many clients use the relocation as the point where they formalise IT support for the first time.
